Joe JAKE Pratt
what a cool shot
Duncan Selby replied:
Thanks for your comment Joe. Its a lot of fun to be there, folks take picnics and bottles of champagne can be heard popping as they wait for the falls to light up and when they do everyone cheers and hollers . Its quite an event.

Hi Dunca...I like your image. This is a classic location made famous by Galen Rowell and you have done him proud. Well done...I understand that this phenonemon occurs in late February for a week or so. What time of year did you shoot this?...Super job...Cheers Bob
Duncan Selby replied:
Hi Bob! Thanks for your comment. You are correct in your understanding of this phenonenon . The shot was taken on Feb 13th 2011. A lot needs to happen for it to work but it's well worth a visit, My advice would be to allow a few days, you have to be lucky for it to work if you are only in Yosemite for a day .
